We love to spend time in our garden. So much so, it is the biggest inspiration for this artistic collaboration. Our work is packed with bold colors influenced by the rich natural beauty of Borikén (Puerto Rico). The beautiful Flor de Maga (related to the Hibiscus or Amapola), Puerto Rico’s national flower is a constant symbol throughout our art pieces. We also share the stories of our ancestors (Taíno or Indigenous, African, and European) in our work. The world looks different depending on who and where you are, and we want to foster understanding of multiple points of view. The study of our art may reflect your own identities, experiences, and motivations (mirrors) or provide you with insight into the identities, experiences, and motivations of others (windows). You will find our art is full of shared stories, inspired by our Puerto Rican/Latin roots. Our collaborative goal is to share the beauty of Borikén and nature with the world.
